Day 01: ARRIVE GUWAHATI – SHILLONG (110 kms 3hrs approx.)
Post arrival at the Guwahati airport proceed to Shillong popularly known as the Scotland of the East; Enroute visit the Umium Lake. Evening free to explore the local market of Shillong.

DAY 02: SHILLONG – MAWLLYNNONG – SHILLONG (80 KMS 3 HRS EACH WAY)
After breakfast drive to Mawllynnong Village. Mawlynnong Village located in the East Khasi Hills of Meghalaya, also referred as ‘God’s own garden’ has won the acclaim of being the cleanest village in Asia in 2003. The village offers picturesque natural beauty, a trek to the living root bridge at a neighbouring village Riwai. The village also offers a sight of natural balancing rock, a strange natural phenomenon of a boulder balancing on another rock.
Visit Dawki, the Bangladesh Border (Tamabil Border from Bangladesh side). Main attraction is the Umgot river with crystal clear water. Enjoy boat ride there (boating OPTIONAL, weather permitting). Evening return back to Shillong. Overnight at hotel. ( B, D )
DAY 03: SHILLONG – CHERRAPUNJEE –SHILLONG (60 KMS 2 HRS EACH WAY APPROX..)
After breakfast drive to Cherrapunjee -en route visit Elephant Falls and Shillong Peak. Cherrapunjee in Meghalaya is one of the wettest places on the planet and the only place in India to receive rain throughout the year. Cherrapunji, also known as Sohra or Churra, means ‘the land of oranges’. The cliffs of Cherrapunji also offer stunning views of the plains of Bangladesh. Visit to Seven Sister Falls, Nahkhalikai Falls, Mwasmai Cave, Koh Ram Hoh , eco – park. Drive back to Shillong.

DAY 04: SHILLONG – KAZIRANGA (260 KMS 7 HRS APPROX..)
After breakfast drive from Cherrapunjee to Kaziranga. Kaziranga National park is a world heritage site famous for the Great Indian One Horned Rhinoceros. The landscape of Kaziranga is of sheer forest, tall elephant grass, rugged reeds, marshes and shallow pools. Kaziranga also has a good number of Tigers and is home to large breeding population of Elephants, Wild Water Buffalo and Swamp Deer.Overnight at hotel ( B, D )
DAY 05: KAZIRANGA
Early morning elephant ride at the park to explore the wildlife & return to the hotel for breakfast. Later Jeep Safari in the Central range of the park. Overnight stay. ( B, D )
DAY 06: KAZIRANGA – GUWAHATI (230 KMS 4 HRSAPPROX..)
After breakfast drive from Kaziranga to Guwahati. Evening go for Brahmaputra River Cruise to relax and have a spectacular view of the city. Overnight stay. ( B, D )
DAY 07: GUWAHATI LOCAL SIGHTSEEING:
After breakfast visit Kamakhya temple – The temple is dedicated to goddess Kamakhya an incarnation of Sati. It is on Nilachal hill, says the Shiva Purana, that the yoni or creative organ of Sati fell when Vishnu, in a bid to save the world from the Shiva’s tandavanrittya or dance of destruction, cut her dead body into 51 pieces with his suddarshan chakra. Also visit Navagraha temple, Umananda temple. Evening visit Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra which is a symbol of multipurpose cultural diversity of Assam OR free for local shopping. Overnight stay. DAY 08: GUWAHATI DEPARTURE
After breakfast, free till transfer to the Guwahati airport in time for onward connection. ( B )
