Day 1: Mumbai-Zurich
On arrival in Zurich proceed for check in at hotel. After a short rest, proceed for an orientation tour of Zurich which includes Fraumunster Church which has the biggest clock face in Europe; Grossmunster cathedral of the 12th century; pass along river Limmat; make a short stop near Zurich Lake. After dinner, return to Hotel for overnight. ( D)
Day 2: Zurich
After breakfast drive towards Schaffhausen. Visit Rhine falls from Schaffhausen side-the most powerful fall in Europe . Later proceed for a boat ride at the Rhine falls- an experience for all your senses. Afternoon visit lake Titisee in the black forest area to take in the breath taking scenery of the Rhineland. Later free time for Shopping for the famous Cuckoo clocks. Evening return back to Zurich for dinner and overnight at hotel. (B.D.)
Day 3: Zurich-Vaduz-Wattens- Innsbruck
After breakfast checkout, and start towards Austria. Enroute visit Vaduz-capital of the minute principality of Liechtenstein. Continue onward to Innsbruck. Visit Swarovski crystal museum in Wattens Drive back to Innsbruck for an orientation tour of Innsbruck – the Tyrol region’s beautiful capital—on foot; explore the medieval Old Town, and admire spectacular views over the Austrian Alps .Evening proceed for the Famous Triol folklore dance show with dinner (B.D.)
Day 4 Innsbruck-Salzburg-Innsbruck
Early morning after breakfast proceed for a full day guided visit to Salzburg “Mozart city” has many faces. It has the baroque Old Town with its medieval fortress towering over it, picturesque landscape surrounded by majestic mountains and crystal clear lakes. It is a center for culture, music and festivals of music. It has the birth place of the composer, W A Mozart. It was the source, inspiration and shooting location of the renowned “The Sound of Music” film and is simply a beautiful historical city. After taking in the romance of Salzberg proceed to Innsbruck for dinner and overnight at hotel. (B.D.)
Day 5 Innsbruck-Lucerne
After breakfast, depart for picturesque Lucerne. Today discover the wonders of Lucerne, a city straight out of a storybook. Experience the old town of Lucerne on foot-highlights include the world famous Chapel bridge, the poignant Lion Monument, etc. Later in the evening cruise on Lake Lucerne Free time for shopping for famous Swiss watches, Chocolates, etc. Dinner and overnight at hotel (B.D.)
Day 6 Lucerne- Jungfrau- Lucerne
Today enhance your experience of Jungfrau’s Alpine majesty on an exhilarating excursion from
Lucerne to the Top of Europe. Travel to Grindelwald and board the state-of-the-art gondola Eiger Express to the Eiger Station. Then change into a cogwheel train up the Jungfraujoch pass and arrive at Europe’s highest railway station, known as the ‘Top of Europe’. Absorb magnificent panoramas of snow-capped Alpine spires; gaze at the jagged peak of Europe’s largest glacier; and explore a fairytale ice palace. After lunch at the Top of Europe proceed to Interlaken- one of Switzerland’s best destinations for its scenic and unique location, sandwiched between two mountains and two lakes . After some free time for shopping return to Lucerne for dinner and overnight at hotel. (B.L.D.)
Day 7 Lucerne- Pilatus-Geneva
Today check out of Lucerne hotel and proceed to Visit Mt Pilatus-a multi-peaked massif; Mt. Pilatus towers over Lucerne and Central Switzerland. The ascent up by cogwheel train-with a gradient of up to 48 percent—is said to be one of the world’s steepest. From the top, you can see as far as Italy on a clear day. Later proceed to the preAlpine town of Gruyères – best known as the home of Switzerland’s most famous cheese. The town’s working show dairy, La Maison du Gruyère, educates visitors on the region’s traditional and modern cheese-making After a cheese fondue lunch at the factory proceed onward to Cailler Chocolate factory to have a multi-sensory experience of chocolate making. Later proceed to Geneva for check in at hotel for overnight. (B.L.D)
Day 8 Geneva-Lausanne-Zurich
After breakfast check out and proceed for Geneva orientation tour including the UNO headquarter, the tallest fountain in Europe, the floral clock; Later drive to Lausanne- a city on Lake Geneva, in the French-speaking region of Vaud, Switzerland. Its home to the International Olympic Committee headquarters, as well as the Olympic Museum and lakeshore Olympic Park. From Lausanne drive onward to Montruez a traditional resort town on Lake Geneva. Visit Charlie Chaplin’s last home, the 37-acre estate, Manoir de Ban, in the small Swiss Riviera town of Corsier-sur-Vevey, where he lived the last few years before his death. Proceed onward to Zurich for overnight at hotel (B.D.)
Day 9
Morning free for shopping till departure hotel with happy memories (B)
